Assassin's Creed Origins Another episode in the best-selling cycle that is a new opening for the series. Ubisoft's work transports players to ancient Egypt where their origins were the Brotherhood of Assassins. For the emergence of this group was an intrigue that the player learns in the course of the adventure and takes place in Bayeka by Siwa. In addition to the historical plot in the game, fragments appear embedded in modern times, where we learn the secrets of the corporation Abstergo Industries. Assassin's Creed: Origins gives us a large, open world. Our exploration works both on foot (with freerunning system) and on the crest of one of the mountains, by car and by boat. The land is populated by independent characters whose lives are subordinate to the cycle of day and night, and the individual roster - from them we take on role assignments and side missions. An important role is played by fighting opponents, the system of which is based on blocking shield attacks and taking advantage of moments when opponents evade hits. There are various murder tools in the hero supports that we can improve using the crafting system. RPG elements include character development - skill points that we collect during the course of adventures that we spend on buying skills on a big tree. The complement to this is Senu or tamed eagle and faithful companion of Bayeek - we send it to the interview and by developing their skills we guarantee the ability to mark and distract the opponents.

Assassin's Creed Origins Download for PC Assassin's Creed: Origins is in ancient Egypt where the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood was born. For the formation of this group was an intrigue that players will learn to play in the course of the adventure in Bayeka from Siwa. The hero was one of the Nubian warriors who for centuries had served the pharaohs as agents and elite law enforcement officers. However, he and his comrades became a relic from the past as the Greek influences of the Ptolemaic dynasty began to rise. Given the changes in the protagonists, only the new realities were there. As with most of the previous games in the series, episodes embedded in the modern era appear alongside the historical story in the production. The player discovers the secrets of Abstergo Industries, which are just a cover for the activities of the Order of the Templar Assassins. Other changes included the combat system. The authors abandoned the scheme based on the introduction of a spectacular counter for the use of dodges and blocking of shield attacks and the use of moments when opponents are subjected to blows. Also, the attacks are divided into two categories: we use lightweight mainly on weaker opponents, while heavy use is a way to defeat armored enemies (this also applies to bosses). In addition, after being insulted with a special strip of adrenaline, Bayek can perform a devastating attack capable of knocking down even the strongest opponent. We have a variety of murder tools in the hero's subculture: we can deal with enemies with white weapons (axes, sticks, swords, daggers, clubs) and distance (various types of bows). As a result of the previous hits, opponents can be surprised, use hidden blades, and use fancy gadgets like smoke bombs. It should also be mentioned that the equipment items can be upgraded based on an extensive crafting system.

Additional information

Assassin's Creed Origins unfortunately confirms this stigma. The main character, Bayek, is a medjaj, or a respected member of the community, whose goal is to protect the pharaoh, tombs and serve his nation, such an ancient police officer. One day, he and his son Khemu are attacked by masked men and dragged to the temple, where he is to open a secret passage. Bayek protests against this, and a fight ensues in which Khemu is fatally wounded by his father. The man vows revenge on the brotherhood of the ancients and goes out into the world to kill all its members. We meet him when he returns to Siwa after many years, getting involved in the political conflict between the pharaoh Ptolemy and his sister Cleopatra, who is aspiring to win the crown. And while the last part, i.e. participation in historical events of famous characters, is quite neat, the rest of the story is not captivating.

The main reason for this is a one-dimensional hero fighting for good and justice in a corrupt world. Bayek is driven by a vengeance, but we don't learn much about him. A much more interesting character is Aya, his wife, who is also a medajai and Cleopatra's secret agent. She is definitely dominant here, she can hit the table with her fist when needed and is firmly convinced of her arguments. The reception of the heroes is a subjective matter, perhaps some will like the stereotype of a defender of the oppressed heroes. Unfortunately, I couldn't like Bayek and maybe that's why it seemed to me that the whole story was very long and repetitive.

It is only in the last few hours that it can be said that the action is gaining momentum. There are excellent naval battles (really, much better than in "Black Flag"), burning cities, intricate conspiracies and finally what many players are waiting for - the theme of the formation of the Assassin brotherhood. The sight of the hooded figures running one after the other on the roofs of the ancient world to the accompaniment of the soundtrack can make hairs on the back of the neck peel, making you look at the screen with satisfaction. Ubisoft still has a lot of work to do to offer this experience to players from the beginning of the game, but guess what? The best part is that this poor plot did not bother me at all in my reception of the whole thing. Find out below why ...
