Star Wars The Old Republic PC Download

Star Wars The Old Republic Ladies and gentlemen, this is Star Wars with signature music and sound effects, a series of films that effectively hammered those sounds to our feet. The creators of not playing in any of the experiments, both the melodies and the sounds of blasters, lightsabers śmigających or backgrounds are exact copies of what we know from the films. They create a suitable atmosphere and do not for a moment give rise to doubts that the universe has been struck. It's therefore just as it should be - what we hear doesn't turn our attention, but fun atmosphere built well. Game technology is a somewhat complicated issue, and even a little controversial. Developers decided to instantiate planets - what does it mean? Well, each planet is a separate, enclosed space. In many ways this is understandable and there is no reason to question this idea. However, these controversies can increase the fact that one planet can also accommodate up to 200 people, and when you get close to this value, the system creates another version of the planet and there are placed next to players. Frequently remains a chat and the ability to play in a group (the participants will be transferred to the same instance - version of the planet). Such a solution can upset Eint a little, especially for those who are accustomed to huge worlds in which they all share the exact same place. But I see its benefits because eliminate overcrowding. Please note that the premieres MMO or publications additives areas like canned sardines full of miserable startup, which TOR-with such is not the case, and if it is - is minimal. I don't know if the solution technology is forcing it, or common sense, but as for me - a good idea and a pretty bold move. Especially when you consider that the fans of the MMO is a very fickle group.

Without going into unnecessary detail, I will say, in short, that the script is well written, offering emotion, entertainment, twists, surprises, joys and sorrows. All classes have been endowed with their own unique storyline that each of the eight characters tends to create and accurately test their adventures. The high quality of the story disarms and leaves the competition light years behind. Secondary quests are also sometimes of interest, except that are already common in all classes (within a faction) and do not raise major emotions on the second passage. However, in this case there is always a new quality, our hero, depending on class and gender, has its own characteristic behavior, how to construct sentences and tone. Add to that the reaction of companions, and each class is five different companions and five different personalities. So even in repetitive missions they get a little surprises. A seasoned MMO player in the TOR feels right at home, which is a good thing, but it can also lead to monotony. The game uses the most common system - show the enemy, and then choose the skills that we will use during the confrontation. It should answer the question of what the mechanism was enriched here and what it is still missing. The benefits undoubtedly quite a battle animation. When it comes to static duels with computer enemies, the developers have done everything that could be done. Skirmishes are attractive enough as far as mechanics allow. Especially good impressive melee, the ability to attract and repel enemies, explosions, skills deafening, flames and this type of attractions. Opponents behave according to the circumstances. They fall when burned when falling, and try by any means to get rid of grenade contact. Another plus is the computer allies on the battlefield. Working with buddies is very smooth, you can use their skills so they complement your own. This aspect is particularly evident in the later stages of the game when we have a couple of accompaniments and we choose to get them on the battlefield so that the perfect duo.

Additional information

Star Wars The Old Republic The Star Wars universe is still one of the most popular and powerful worlds that were created in someone's imagination. Moreover, the classic film trilogy and several games have cult status today, and the power of this cult is comparable only to equally fanatical trekkies. No wonder that every new game with the magic words of Star Wars in the title arouses great interest among fans. Especially when we are dealing with MMORPG production. Star Wars: The Old Republic is a debut in this field of erpeg veterans from BioWare, who, after all, have already dealt with the world of Star Wars on the occasion of Knights of The Old Republic. The game, the elements of which can also be found in extremely large numbers in The Old Republic. At this point, MMORPG fanatics may have a warning light: “Like this, KoTOR was a single-player game through and through. So how ...? " And that's what the power of the new BioWare game is all about.

Star Wars The Old Republic At the outset, I will emphasize one thing - Star Wars: The Old Republic is as much a network game as it is intended for one player. It sounds paradoxical, but in practice it works perfectly, and at the same time it is the main magnet for people who have not played such productions so far. BioWare and EA apparently decided to use a different tactic than before and instead of creating another WoW-killer, they made an attempt to fill the niche. How did they do it? First of all, a storyline, practically unheard of on such a scale in MMO games. BioWare strongly promoted this aspect of the game and did it most rightly. Thanks to this, The Old Republic avoids the biggest disadvantage of all kinds of massages - boring leveling. Stories (different for each class) may not be a fictional ideal, but at times stand at a really high level. More than once, the creators managed to surprise me, whether it was a fictional volte, a great atmosphere, or just an idea to diversify the gameplay.

Star Wars The Old Republic Of course, all this works within the limits imposed by the specificity of the MMORPG game with a "rigid" world, on which the player's influence is negligible. But even with that and knowing that most of the side quests aren't that far off the kill / blow up / fetch standard, leveling up is a lot more fun than most other games of the genre. The more that the grind phenomenon has been virtually eliminated - it just doesn't make sense here. It is impossible not to mention the amazing sound at this point. This applies to both dialogue issues (all conversations are fully voiced!) And the accompanying music or environmental sounds. I consider the selection of actors and the dubbing itself (especially on the Empire side) to be almost exemplary.
