At The Solus Project, we have everything that has been crazy about games in recent years. There is a peaceful exploration and admiring the views here. There are also survival elements and compulsive gathering of everything. And there is also a plot and puzzles. All this in first person, with nice visuals served by the Unreal engine and ascetic but adequate sound. How could that not work in combination? It is not known. Let the experts think about it, if they feel like it. It is enough for us players to say that, unfortunately, it is only pink because of the color of the grass on an alien planet.

The story is quite dramatic, because humanity has died, everyone on our ship has died, a whole lot of dead bodies in general, and we live thanks to the escape pod. We land on a foreign globe and we must survive. At first it seems that it is not that simple, because the authors have served us a fabulous variety of all kinds of factors that can kill us. High daytime temperatures. Low at night. Meteor showers. Sudden tides. Thunderstorms and lightning that hey. Plus, of course, hunger, cold, poverty and dehydration. There is not only an indicator that would show us the probability of dying from boredom, which is a pity, because it quickly turns out that it would be very useful. His role could theoretically be taken over by the one who informs us when we should go to sleep, but he is also confusing, because The Solus Project very quickly becomes lull and even slight twitching towards the horror story does not counteract this sleepiness.
I think we have too many mushrooms in the borscht here. Each one is undercooked, raw. Rather not poisonous for good luck, but not as tasty as it should be. Take these survival elements, for example. They seem to be an interesting aspect of the game until it turns out that you really need to try hard or be terribly unlucky to die. After an hour, we have the system worked out and the necessary tools to survive as long as we like. Especially that the greatest threats, such as extreme weather conditions on the surface, cease to have any importance in caves, and it is in them that we will spend most of our time in The Solus Project. There you only have to worry about food and drink, which is basically found underground in sufficient quantities. Survival becomes routine. It gives no satisfaction in achieving anything. So is gathering. Yes, theoretically, in each location there are some relics and other wonders to be found. Fabulous. Nothing makes a person more valuable than acquiring an ancient artifact that improves our hypothermia resistance by one percent. This colossal difference is felt immediately. Normally, I walked around smiling for an hour when I found such a relic. Except no, of course.
