Of course, just like in the games of the Gothic and Risen series, an important element of Elex is combat. The main character has to deal with several opponents, among which are caused by mutations of monsters, but also powerful battle machines. With the turn in the camp protagonist use both melee weapons and firearms and thus, among other things, swords, pistols, lasers and advanced toys dueling combat. There was also a variety of weapons and armor.

Their main goal is to rebuild the planet with the help of the All Hearts, thanks to which vegetation develops rapidly in devastated areas. Clerics with the help of the elex develop technology, creating, among others energy weapons, mechs, as well as expanding your psionic abilities. Outlaws, on the other hand, live in the desert and get rich on the scrap metal found in it. They use the mysterious substance to create boosters that give them supernatural abilities for a short time. Blue Elex crystals are also the main currency in Magalan, which involuntarily evokes associations with the Mining Valley.
Elex We play the role of Jaks, an Albanian commander who flies on a secret mission. The goal of the Albs is to collect the entire elex on the planet using converters. At the cost of losing humanity and losing their feelings, they take elex, which gives them unmatched power. However, something goes wrong, our protagonist's tester is shot down, and the hero himself is immediately sentenced to execution for the failure of the mission, from which he miraculously escapes alive. At the beginning, as in Piranha Bytes games, we find ourselves in the middle of an unknown territory, lonely, weak, without armor. Elex We'll have to find out who betrayed us and why.
Those who Jax belonged to become our natural enemies, and our opponents become potential allies. For the first time in the game of a German producer, we play the role of a hero with a name, with a known past.
