Phasmophobia Free is an unusual survival horror game developed with 4-person co-op in mind. The title also features virtual reality support. In this production we play the role of a ghost hunting team in a haunted place. Developed and published by an independent studio Kinetic Games, the title is his debut project. Phasmophobia Download for PC In Phasmophobia we observe the action from the first-person perspective. The fun is exploring haunted places and collecting evidence that ghosts exist. For this purpose we use special devices such as electromagnetic field measuring devices, CTTV cameras or motion detectors (we manage part of the devices from the truck, which is our base - one of the team members is responsible for this). In Phasmophobia we can play alone or with others. The title features a single-player mode, however, the fun only turns into four-person online co-op. The production offers cross-platform functionality - it allows users using VR goggles to play together and people playing traditionally on a regular PC.
It is worth noting that the longer we stay in a certain place, the more dangerous it becomes (developers have prepared several different places - we have a choice of a property, prison, farm, school or hospital). There are over ten unique ghost types in the game - each of them has unique traits that make the subsequent investigations quite different. Interestingly, the game also uses the voice recognition function, thanks to which we can sometimes interact with ghosts using our own voice. Phasmophobia features a decent three-dimensional graphic design. As in most productions designed for virtual reality, the graphics do not impress with the technological level, but they reflect the atmosphere of horror well. In addition, the fact that we often move in the dark masks some of the game's downsides. It is also worth mentioning the minimalistic interface, thanks to which nothing interferes with the player's immersion. The production works with HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Valve Index glasses and headsets from the Windows Mixed Reality group.

Phasmophobia is usually silent and has no peculiar music in the background and only the usual sounds of footsteps, creaking floors or doors, and a ghost start dropping something to the floor. Such actions of the creators meant that the player has more acute hearing and must listen to sounds better so that in case of problems with finding the exact location of the ghost, find it where the objects fly. After that, it's dark everywhere, of course we have a flashlight and we can illuminate the light, but during the game it can easily break traffic jams and we will have to look for traffic jams. I recommend playing alone without your friends, so you can feel this atmosphere best.
Phasmophobia makes good use of elements from a real ghost search, i.e. you have to walk with a thermometer and look for a place where it is unnaturally cold or leave a book with a pen on the floor and wait to write something, and see if it throws or moves something. Unlike some games or movies, we don't catch a ghost by doing weird rituals or vacuuming it up.
in Phasmophobia we can play in a group of up to four. Playing with friends is so interesting that you can always laugh at your friend's ghost and start screaming or stop talking. In addition, it is good to cooperate with others when looking for evidence and the game goes faster and more efficiently. And for this reason, the developers have big plans for this game, not only do they want to add new maps, new types of ghosts, improve graphics, but they want to add a completely new mode, which will consist in the fact that one of the players takes on the role of a ghost and his task it will kill other players who will want to know what kind of ghost is. We can only be curious about what else they will prepare for us.
