On a fictional college, US Riverpoint University conducts research into the possibilities of time travel. During one of the attempts, however, an accident occurs as a result of which there are a number of unexplained anomalies, and the world around us slowly and gradually begins to unravel. In addition, three scientists: Jack Joyce, Beth Wilder and Paul Serene is endowed with supernatural abilities to manipulate space-time. While two of them strongly believe in the ability to fix the world, confident of the inevitability of the coming cataclysm, Serene attempts to use the space-time damage and ability of Jack for her own ends.
Quantum Pause plot was constructed in a manner reminiscent of contemporary TV series and presents the events film scenes, prepared with the participation of live actors combine with the events of the game. While in the game, we follow the actions of the positive heroes: Jack and Beth, the film focuses entirely on the main antagonist game Paul Serene and directed by his company Monarch. Thanks to this type of narration, guided throughout the game, we can get to know many aspects of the same story presented from two different points of view. In addition, both while playing and watching the show, players have to make a number of important decisions that will be reflected in the further course of the story. Despite the very rich layer of role-playing games, Quantum Pause on Windows PC, but primarily dynamic third-person action game in which, in addition to shooting, an equally important element is to traverse to the next level and use their ability, not just fighting , but also to "fix the world." This aspect of the game clearly spreads the fact that due to the damage to the space around us is constantly changing, and around us there are a whole bunch of anomalies, due to which objects, structures or buildings disappear or crumble before our eyes. This in turn makes the game not only a predetermined path to follow, which sometimes lead to having to seek alternative solutions and paths to the goal.

Quantum Break is not a typical shooter. This is a great game set in a rich universe, full of interesting characters, with narration conducted like in a series. It is so addictive and intriguing that we treat the moments when we take up arms as a pleasant break. A failed scientific experiment at Riverport University leads to a doomsday catastrophe. It's actually the end of time, which - colloquially speaking - has "broken", and Jack Joyce and a handful of allies are trying to fix it.
Quantum Break So that the story does not sound too banal, the plot of a mysterious corporation appears, the secret goals of shadowy figures in suits, time paradoxes and heroes acting for their own reasons. It is so interesting that it is impossible to pass by indifferently even by a note found during the game. Along with Quantum Break, we get a mini-series with actors. It was feared that it would adversely affect the storyline in the game, but it did not happen. The episodes are watched with interest. The game presents the point of view of the main character, and the series develops parallel themes of the villains.
Quantum Break It is also a great move to give players the control of history. After each completed act of the adventure, there is a scene in which we choose one of the two available paths for the development of the story. The decision affects not only the next twenty-minute episode of the series, but also our further fate in the game. This procedure is so addictive that we explore with interest all levels in search of "collectibles", secrets and other important elements that will affect further decisions and result in additional scenes in the TV show. It happens that we hurry to finish a given stage or a shootout because we want to see what happens next. The main character, being in the center of the disaster, runs the risk of unexpected side effects. It is able to slow down and stop time. The new skill turns out to be quite useful when special units of the Monarch Solutions corporation stand in its way.
