Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 is a return to the roots of the series and its original formula. The developers have created a very skillful, but at the same time spectacular driving model that allows you to build long combos, as well as perform absurdly high jumps and intricate tricks. In some places we can also use projectiles directly from the game board or throw different objects at specific targets. At the start of the game we create our own skater thanks to a rich editor or we take on the role of one of 10 famous players. Available characters include names familiar to Board fans such as Tony Hawk, Nyjah Huston, Aaron Homoki, Ishod Wair, Riley Hawk, Lizzie Armanto, Chris Cole, David Gonzalez, Leticia Bufoni and Andrew Reynolds. Each character is described by a set of stats that we improve as the campaign progresses.
The creators have prepared 8 different locations, which are a variation of the elements and locations that appeared in the previous parts of the series (e.g. high school, warehouse). The maps contain different types of power-ups and collectibles. Missions are assigned to each level, during which we will collect the right number of points, perform certain tricks, etc. There are about 80 in total. Importantly, the title also has a skate park editor, familiar to veterans of the cycle. that we can share with friends. When building tracks, players can use over 250 elements such as ramps or chutes. We can play alone or with others, both collaboratively and competitively. Multiplayer allows us to play simultaneously for 20 people. The game's graphic design was created using cel-shading technique, but the quality of the models and character animations does not impress and deviates from many modern standards. Licensed music is playing in the background. The soundtrack consists of dozens of songs by artists representing different styles and genres.

There was a nice SSX, decent Shaun White Skateboarding and refreshed editions of old Tony hits, but compared to the times when productions such as Grind Session, Cool Boarders, 1080 ° Snowboarding, Thrasher: Skate and Destroy, Mat Hoffman's Pro hit the market BMX, Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX, Skate or my beloved Aggressive Inline - poverty squeaks. I believed Tony Hawk 5 would fill that gap, even despite negative feedback from playtests.

After accepting the first patcher on the face, I turned the other cheek according to the principle "graphics are not everything". He regrets, because the next blow was a solid fart ....
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 The design of the game lies and squeals on many levels. Let's start with the individual boards. Out of eight available, only two can be said - "they will pass". We are talking about a school and a hangar, which, moreover, strongly refer to the classic levels from the cult, first installments. They refer to this perfect word, because the places do not live up to the heels of their prototypes. At times, I even had the impression that the developers created levels in the creator available to players. Let the perfect summary be the fact that the community is already creating cooler objects than developers. It is, however, little consolation. The scenes are dull, boring and bland. But it is packed with sponsors' advertisements, which in the case of this game are probably anti-advertising.
