Select your CPU and GPU to find the minimum power supply (PSU) wattage your build needs, with safe headroom for stability and future upgrades already added. Avoid an underpowered PSU that crashes your system — or overpaying for watts you will never use.
How does the PSU calculator work?
The tool adds the power draw (TDP) of your CPU + GPU + the rest of the system (motherboard, RAM, storage, fans), then applies a ~35% safety margin. The result is a recommended wattage — we suggest an 80 Plus Gold rated unit for the best efficiency and reliability.
How many watts do I need?
A mid-range build (RTX 4060/4070 + Core i5/Ryzen 5) usually needs 550–650W, while a high-end build (RTX 4080/4090) needs 850–1000W. Always leave ~30% above peak draw.
