Farming Simulator 22 is the ninth major installment in the best-selling farming simulator series released in 2008. The production was developed by the studio GIANTS Software, who developed the brand from the beginning. Interestingly, this is the first major installment in the series not published by Focus Home Interactive since 2012; The developers released the title at their own expense. As in the previous parts of the series, in Farming Simulator 22 we will play the role of a farmer and all the tasks related to running the farm will be on our shoulders. The money we earn (e.g. by selling crops) we can use to buy new equipment and expand our farm. The authors did not hesitate to introduce a number of various innovations and improvements. The game features both the well-known landscape of Erlengrat, which has been slightly updated, and two completely new maps. Also, among over 400 machines and tools from over a hundred licensed manufacturers waiting to be reviewed, we find their new categories. Here, too, the previously unavailable crops were implemented.
The biggest news, however, is the changing seasons; in each of them we have to deal with different things and properly prepare the farm for the next seasons. As in the previous part of the series, Farming Simulator 22 allows you to play solo and play in a cooperative multiplayer mode. Technical Issues Farming Simulator 22 is based on GIANTS Engine 9 technology, which has been thoroughly optimized. Among other things, the authors discussed AI behavior. In addition, attention was paid to the detail and variety of the backdrops and the sound layer.

Farming Simulator 22 does not introduce radical changes. It develops a proven formula, offering a lot of improvements that make the gameplay more pleasant and diversified. We start the game with a simple character creator, and then choose one of three new maps: Elmcreek, modeled on the United States; Haut-Beyleron referring to France; and the alpine Erlengrat. We start our adventure with a few basic tools and buildings, a bit of cash and fields ready for cultivation.
Farming Simulator 22 And it really depends on us what we will do next - and there is no shortage of activities here. We can farm or horticulture, raise animals or start mass cutting down nearby trees. We can also make use of what is new in the series of production chains. Thanks to them, we will process basic products into their more valuable versions - we will use milk and eggs for baking, wool for the production of clothing. The game does not impose any goal and allows you to just have fun. Freedom, however, is also, in a sense, a production drawback - especially in combination with the lack of a decent training stage that would explain the nuances of the game. Yes, the developers implemented a short tutorial, but it is limited to describing a few very basic issues, and then it stops unexpectedly.
Farming Simulator 22 We are left in the middle of nowhere, not knowing what to do next. Veterans of the series will have no problems finding themselves, but new players will certainly have to look for tips on the Internet (we encourage you to read our study: Farming Simulator 22 - guide and best tips). Once we get through the difficult beginnings, we have unexpectedly relaxing gameplay ahead of us, but also a lot of possibilities. New machines and tools have been added to the enormous pool of available agricultural machinery. We can now mulch the soil to make it even more fertile, as well as use solutions to remove stones from the fields. The tools known from previous editions also have additional models - also thanks to new equipment manufacturers, for example McCormick. All the tools in the game are authentic machines of companies existing on the market.
