The Sims 4 Discover University is an add-on to the best-selling simulation game The Sims 4 of 2013. Both productions were developed by EA Maxis Studio, which also has titles like the Spore SimCity series and the previous three parts of The Sims series. series features. The authors have prepared a classically realized supplement. The production does not introduce revolutionary changes and focuses on expanding the content of The Sims 4. Thanks to The Discover University, our Sims will start their education at the ancient University of Britechester or at a modern university known as Foxbury Institute. Characters can participate in classes, including pedagogy, engineering, computer science, biology, and law. There's even a course for the villains.
Our Sims will not be forced to attend class, but it will affect their academic performance. Between classes, Sims go to accommodation on campus, spend time in the library and common recreation areas, or explore the city of Britechester by bike. There is also the opportunity to support university teams in sporting competitions and to take part in timpani exercises together with other students. We also spend our free time playing table tennis with friends and partying with roommates or visiting university clubs. The Sims 4: Discover University also lets you set up the Sims' rooms into dorms, which is backed up by a solid lineup of new items. There were also extra clothes. I don't have official age stats for a typical Sims fan, but I suspect most fans of virtual life either look forward to their own college party life or remember it with nostalgia. And it's for these groups that The Sims 4 University is a great offering. In doing so, we don't really bother with our lectures, instead focusing on sitting around the dorm, campus, and bars, with homework and notebooks deferred until later. Actually, it's like life.

The Sims 4 Discover University Do you want to live, eat, sleep and study in a dormitory? Get a few thousand simoleons for a laptop and a few hundred for the fridge. Would you like to move to campus for the entire semester? It is connected with the abandonment of the current career. Remember also that if you have not paid for your tuition in advance, then after returning to the "gray reality", you will have to repay the student loan. Come on? No one said it will be easy. Where to get the funds for it? If we already have a rich character, that won't be a problem. Otherwise, it remains for us to sell home furnishings or apply for a scholarship. However, to receive it, you must meet a selected condition - for example, a very physically fit character can receive funding for athletes.
The Sims 4 Discover University However, completely new Sims may have a problem - fortunately, the questionnaire-based character creator, added a few months ago in the free update, sets the initial characteristics at a level that allows you to get a grant. Immediately when choosing one of the two universities and one of the dozen or so fields of study, we also see awards that we will receive after successfully completing at least twelve selected courses. It is each time an opportunity to start a professional career several levels higher than the average, uneducated mortal.
The Sims 4 Discover University As far as it seems very logical, it really looks like this: we need to earn money for studies to spend a few sim weeks on learning, thanks to which we will save a few to several days needed for a few promotions at work. I know that everything is simplified in The Sims 4, but the idea of studying has been very shallow and it is a bit sad. Any legitimacy of going to university comes down to experiencing a student adventure, completing many events and having a night while trying to finish a lecture on a selected subject. So we can stop pretending to invest in ourselves and train for career goals.
