In Crysis Remastered we observe the action from the first person perspective (FPP). The game is divided into missions that take place on separate maps with an open structure. During the game we have complete freedom not only in choosing the path to the goal, but also in the way we complete the tasks set for us. The objectives of the mission can be achieved both by silent action and by shooting everything that gets under the barrel. Whichever method we choose, things are made easier by a nanosuit stuffed with futuristic technology that the protagonist wears, which, among other things, allows him to survive in a hostile environment (e.g. at low temperatures) and can also be in several different working modes; it's about temporary invisibility, speeding up movements and increasing strength and resistance to damage. In addition, we have an extensive arsenal at our disposal and each weapon can be customized to individual preferences by installing a silencer, various optical devices and accessories such as a grenade launcher. We explore the islands both on foot and with various vehicles and machines - in addition to off-road vehicles, we can use boats, hovercrafts and helicopters, among other things. Against the background of the original, Crysis Remastered stands out with significantly improved graphics. Among other things, the creators took care of refreshing textures and better particle effects and, among other things, also implemented a new lighting system, volumetric fog, motion blur effect and software ray tracing. As in the original, the environment is prone to damage - we can not only level the building elements with the ground, but also destroy the flora.

They changed it to the futuristic Far Crya, which, however, with each new mission begins to differ more and more from its predecessor and acquires its own identity.
We play the role of a soldier of the American Delta Force. Crysis Remastered Nomad, because that's the nickname of the hero, goes to the fictional Lingshan Islands in order to recover archaeologists held by North Korean troops. Scientists have discovered an alien ship and the source of an alien civilization on Earth, which of course means that not only Koreans will be our problem. And it really is, after the first stage of the game, in which we eliminate enemy soldiers on a tropical island, it gets much more futuristic and we start fighting aliens who want to settle down on Earth.
What distinguishes Crysis Remastered from other shooters is the combat nanosuit our hero is equipped with. It diversifies the gameplay with a few interesting mechanics, such as fast run, high jump, increased resistance to damage, or a masking mode that allows us to blend in with the landscape for a moment. For a while, because each of these mechanics consumes a lot of energy.
Unfortunately, they cannot say much good about the execution itself, and neither can they say about artificial intelligence. I was never a big fan of the first Crysis Remastered, mainly due to the non-fun shooting. Just like a dozen or so years ago, now I "do not feel" the gun, and many seemingly accurate shots do not make the slightest impression on the opponents. These, in turn, often behave like without a fifth stave and it is difficult to see even a hint of a tactical idea in their actions.
