Dirt Rally 2.0 another installment of the series that allows you to take part in virtual car rallies. The game is characterized by a very high degree of reality. Its founders are experienced developers from the British studio Codemasters, who have consistently developed the cycle since its inception. Three-dimensional graphic design The DiRT Rally 2.0 offers a very high level. Both locations and vehicles have been mapped with the utmost care down to the smallest of details. The lighting system, realistic weather effects and mechanics responsible for damage and pollution of vehicles are also impressive. The sophisticated driving model takes into account factors such as surface, weather and even gravel that accumulates on the tires and affects their grip. Effective support systems such as traction control, track stability and ABS help players in their efforts. Cars are also damaged while driving and may even refuse to obey. Of course, all vehicles can be tuned by adjusting certain parameters to their expectations. A high level of realism means that one mistake can make the difference between success and failure. Many special stages await you in different parts of the world: in Spain, Austria, Argentina, New Zealand, USA and ... Poland. Production by the Codemasters team is fully licensed by the FIA World Rallycross World Championship. In DiRT Rally 2.0 we can play alone and in company. Various modes are available to players - we have the opportunity to participate in the World Rally Championship, play individual rallies and compete with other players thanks to rich network capabilities.

The gentlemen of Codemasters have done it again. The rally car market is very dry, but in all this hopelessness we have been seeing light in the tunnel for several years. DiRT Rally 2.0 review must be unambiguous - the creators of the iconic racing cars also managed in this case, and even more. The second installment of DiRT Rally is a really great game.
Good simulation
This has to be written at the very beginning - DiRT Rally 2.0 is, above all, a good simulation. The driving physics are exemplary, but we have to be honest - this is not a game for untrained drivers. The entry threshold is quite high, but that shouldn't put any player off. The beginnings are always difficult (even more difficult in career mode, but more on that later), but once you master the art of driving, breaking time records with each run becomes more and more fun.
Playing with full assists isn't easy at all, and it certainly doesn't go as smoothly as in Need for Speed, but it's a simulation after all. Playing on a pad is very difficult, but a simulation like DiRT Rally 2.0 is made for playing on the steering wheel. It is a pity, however, that the solution known from Gran Turismo was not used, where the DualShock could be used as the wheel.
The damage to the vehicles is mapped in the game. However, it was done a bit inconsistently, because cars can behave differently in identical situations - from what I have figured out many people have similar feelings. On the plus side, there are certainly extras such as simulated accidents on the routes or very diverse routes.
In DiRT Rally 2.0, we will be able to overcome, among others, sandy special stages in Argentina or domestic Polish stages. However, I miss the legendary Monte Carlo and what I like the most, i.e. snow slopes in Scandinavia. We will see these things only after purchasing a paid add-on - a big minus, because I think that such important elements of rallies should be available immediately.
