Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD is prepared by studio Robomodo arcade game addressed to fans of extreme skateboarding. Players can try their skills by performing spectacular stunts in familiar locations from the first series of Tony Hawk's hits. The title was designed exclusively for electronic distribution. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD Download for PC cycle Tony Hawk debuted in 1999 and has met eleven hits over several years. But games like Tony Hawk: RIDE (2009) or Tony Hawk: SHRED (2011) turned out to be spectacular takers. With this in mind, publishers - company Activision and the developers of the Chicago Studio Robomodo decided to return to the roots of the series and take advantage of proven solutions.
Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD on the PC platform with Windows is a compilation of elements from Tony Hawk Pro Skater (1999) and Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2. The game will appear in a number of locations well known to fans of the cycle, including: Warehouse, School 2, Mall, Phoenix, Hangar, Marseille and Venice. Players can also play as their favorite skateboarders. In addition to the Tony Hawk playable characters, they are: Eric Koston, Andrew Reynolds, Rodney Mullen, Lyn-z Adams Hawkins (Pastrana), Nyjah Huston, Chris Cole and Riley Hawk. The creators have remained faithful to the original game mechanics. The task of the player is not only to perform spectacular stunts on a skateboard, but also to receive a collection of letters, spiked combos and all kinds of challenges. He returned while using a traditional control system using a game pad. Implemented options you can turn social compare your results with your friends. This game should be subtitled Pro Skater True HD. Why? Because it's not the HD that we know from other new editions. The new old Tony Hawk not only got new textures, but also a new engine, which benefited his health. We received new game modes, but the game mechanics remained intact. As are the locations, which - if we factor in the locations of objects and collectibles - have been moved almost 1:1 from THPS and THPS 2 to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater True HD. Almost, because the only scratch that is already echoing in the discussion forums is the controversial replacement of the VHS cassette that we can collect in available places with a DVD. Oh, such a sign of the times.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD is, on the one hand, the same good old Tony Hawk that I remember from my school days, looking at the way it controls. On the other hand, the locations that were made available in the refreshed release (selected from THPS and THPS 2) stuck in my awareness a bit differently. Maybe because - as I mentioned - they have been heavily tweaked? Maybe because where there was gray slush in the mall, now there is marble? Maybe because it turned out that the yellow floor is actually a floor that does not lack details, and on Venice Beach and Marseilles (Marseilles) everything seems to be sharper? There is also School II, which is driven by a wild golf cart driver - there, as in other places, we will not see loading textures, everything is loaded immediately, at the start.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD Fortunately, only the technical layer has been improved, because we still - like in the old years - we launch a helicopter in the Hangar, we also unlock a bonus room and, of course, we drive under the open sky, while in the Warehouse, i.e. the warehouse, we still have little places to perform tricks. A Downhill Jam? Just as freaky and inviting to make tricks as it used to be. Fortunately, the mechanics of the game that stuck in my mind, in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD are the same as in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and the "two". I forgot that I have an analog in my Xbox 360 gamepad, really - I instinctively put my fingers on the D-pad and felt at home.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD Speaking of mechanics, well - still most of the fun is based on getting as many points as possible in two minutes, performing more and more spectacular tricks and multiplying points, jumping even between consecutive rails, as well as using hand tricks. In this matter, absolutely nothing has changed that can reject some, because you can see that the controls would require improvements and adaptation to the current standards and modern players, but fans of the original will appreciate that Robomobo and Activision - rightly in my opinion - decided to do nothing about it, what Neversoft once served us.
