WWE 2K20 is the next installment in a series of sports games centered around wrestling. As in the previous parts, the production was developed by Visual Concepts. 2K Games took over the publishing of the title. WWE 2K20 uses the license of the WWE and NXT Federations, which allows you to manage their wrestlers. The whole game focuses on the fight in the ring. Meanwhile, players can use a wide range of different types of shots, throws, and catches. The WWE 2K20 Originals service also went into production. It offers players regular access to new thematic themes and new content.
WWE 2K20 offers a large number of game variants. MyCareer mode has returned to production and allows players to take a chosen player through all levels of the wrestling career. The title also features a fictional campaign - 2K Showcase: The Women's Evolution. It focuses on the achievements of four female wrestlers: Becky Lynch, Bayley, Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks. In addition, players can attempt a series of WWE Towers challenges based on defeating consecutive opponents. WWE 2K20 features high-quality graphics, including faithfully reproduced players. In addition, the control system has been improved, which has been balanced to satisfy both beginners and veterans familiar with the series. Yukes has had a problem for years, firstly with long hair (both male and female) and secondly with wrestlers' faces. The most successful wrestlers have always been the bald or almost bald ones. This year, however, Visual Concepts has reached a whole new level of horror. Can't really blame them as they probably got the old Youkes motor and had little time to get everything up and running. That doesn't change the fact that the graphics in WWE 2K20 aren't a funny joke. Cover star Becky Lynch looks awful. The level of detail dropped to such a low level that the Smackdown vs Raw games of the previous generation of consoles looked better and more detailed.

WWE 2K20 Because who has not seen those grim animations, interpenetrating character models, eyes and teeth without the rest of the face, hair living its own life, flickering limbs, wrestlers walking in the air, thrashing judges, eternal rolling when trying to leave the ring, or collapsing in the latter knee-deep? Shortly after the premiere, social media exploded with more or less funny videos with more and more bugs and glitches. The public campaign against Visual Concepts began and # FixWWE2K20 began to conquer Twitter. However, it seems to me that the mass hysteria-driven discourse, which is largely driven by people who didn't buy the game but saw a few GIFs, forgets a few things to mention.
WWE 2K20 But before I become the devil's advocate, I have to add my three… maybe five… well, maybe ten cents to the list of complaints and grievances. The number of loading screens calls for vengeance to heaven - just as those between the menus and the gameplay are as natural as possible, the ones appearing between cutscenes are crazy. Since we are talking about cutscenes, it should be noted that not only do the graphics in them sometimes present a tragic level, much worse than the one we observe during the fights, but they cannot be ignored yet.
WWE 2K20 Some (but only some) of the characters' faces are completely unlike their prototypes, and you will hardly see any facial expressions in them. However, when you decide to create a player yourself, creating someone with even an average degree of attractiveness - even with the use of ready-made facial elements, designed by the creators - borders on the achievement in the field of plastic surgery. It makes sense to import your own face is a matter of a miracle. Brawl arenas are more empty and deprived of interaction than in games from more than a decade ago. Every once in a while, the audience sounds just cut out. Well, who the hell came up with the idea that the new SMS and podcasts in career mode would appear at the bottom and you had to run through all the existing ones to get to them?
