Due to the fact that the game world is full of dangers (individual opponents come here in different variants, differing in appearance, strength and firepower), we had at our disposal a rich arsenal of machine guns or a unique crossbow shooting saw. Crafting adds variety to the fun, which plays a bigger role here than in previous installments in the series. The resources gained on our trips can be used not only to improve weapons, but also to improve processing by so-called specialists. A significant innovation in the Far Cry series is the introduction of enemies in New Dawn with a certain level of difficulty in color - from gray to yellow. The weapon is just as diverse, which brings even more elements of RPGs to the series. In Far Cry: New Dawn, you should remember to attack your opponents with an arsenal of the right level - otherwise the fight will be very long and difficult.

Seventeen years have passed since the nuclear attack that claimed the lives of North America, among others. Nuclear winter has already passed, and after it came the so-called "big bloom" - a period of sudden flowering of plants, mainly bright pink flowers. During the game we get to the post-apocalyptic version of Hope County known from the "Five". Playing the role of a self-made hero or heroine, we have to face a gang of marauders traveling across the country (or rather, what's left of it), called the Highwaymen, led by two black twins - Mickey and Lou. The protagonist can call on the help of his allies, which include the residents of the Prosperity settlement, which is his base, as well as an Akita dog named Timber, or even an overgrown boar - Horatio. The animals, like people like Nana's sniper rifle, belong to the so-called "loan guns", that is to say to the characters who, if necessary, accompany us on missions and clashes with opponents.

Finally, civilization ends: Seventeen years after the nuclear war, one of the last enclaves of people trying to survive in the new world is raided by a gang of bandits under the rule of eccentric twins. Although the post-apocalyptic surroundings and opponents at first glance suggest experiencing new impressions, it quickly turns out that Far Cry New Dawn is clearly secondary.

The atomic bombs destroyed most of the earth - as we can learn by trying to cross the map boundaries available in the game - but somehow Hope County is full of greenery and animals. Pink flowers cover the ruins of old buildings, albino roe deer gnaw on the lush grass, and the sky is colored with the beautiful northern lights.
Why is it like that? No one knows this. Far Cry New Dawn It's important that the natural beauty is obscured by an anarchist group that raids and exploits the people of the region. We play the role of a wanderer from a completely different human habitat, who travels around the country and helps rebuild communities. The twins Lou and Mickey represent a highly organized group that will be challenging to counter. However, you don't see it during the game, because it's just a bunch of screaming motorcyclists. Throughout the game, the main plot of which can be completed in ten hours, the sisters do not have the opportunity to demonstrate enough to match the personality of any of the previous antagonists in the series.
Far Cry New Dawn But that doesn't mean the game itself isn't fun. Visiting the places we know from Far Cry 5 and meeting the heroes we had the opportunity to meet while fighting the cult of New Eden is a pleasant epilogue that was missing after completing the previous installment.
