In Halo Infinite, the action is observed from the first person perspective (FPP). The player takes part in various missions in the Zeta Halo ring, during which he has to fight many opponents. The gameplay has been constructed on the model of a sandbox, which guarantees the player full freedom in using various interactive objects, e.g. vehicles, equipment or weapons.

During the shootouts, the Halo Infinite player has a wide range of futuristic guns and gadgets at his disposal (including a grappling hook, an enemy detector and a portable barrier), and with the help of all kinds of vehicles, he can move faster around the vast world of Halo Infinite. In addition to story missions, there are also optional activities and numerous collectibles scattered around Zeta Halo. They allow you to deepen your knowledge about the game world and past events.

The goal of the developers was to create a game that honors the fighting style known from classic Halo titles, while offering new players the support necessary to fully enjoy the game. That's why Spartan Academy was introduced to Halo Infinite, as well as Spartan Commander Laurette, who is to help new players familiarize themselves with maps, weapons and equipment.

There are also bot matches available in Halo Infinite, thanks to which newcomers can easily familiarize themselves with the mechanics and old-timers warm up a bit before throwing themselves into the actual fight. Further bot additions and Academy content are added as the game progresses.

Halo Infinite also has a competitive and free-to-play multiplayer mode. This module offers two types of gameplay. The first is the Arena, where teams of 4 can compete in a balanced arena shooter style game. The second is the classic Big Team Battle, allowing you to play epic matches on a large scale.

In this enhanced version of Halo Infinite, a total of 24 players can compete against each other in a vehicle-friendly, open terrain. BTB is a game full of madness and chaos, where weapons fall from the sky and Laurette's commander arrives with more tactical updates that make the game even more fun.

Halo Infinite is basically a sandbox FPS - although there are also TPP sequences, when we sit at the helm of various machines or fire with heavy weapons. You will also find delicate flavors straight from erpegs, and even ... strategy. When starting the game, be prepared for a long sitting. When, after a dozen or so hours, I thought I had reached the final, it turned out that it was actually... the halfway point! In short, expect over 20 hours of gameplay (mostly non-stop "dancing" dodging the attacks of hordes of enemies), and who knows, maybe over 30 if you engage in side missions and choose not necessarily the easiest difficulty level.
