Mordhau FPP / TPP action game in which players take on the role of a medieval knight and participate in online battles. A distinctive feature of Mordhau is the extensive combat system. Mordhau is a first-person multiplayer action game focused on melee weapons. The production released on PC was set in medieval reality and its creation is the responsibility of independent development team Team Mordhau. The game's title refers to the German Mordhau sword fighting technique of holding a weapon by the blade and firing blows with the hand. Mordhau Download for PC The game mechanics uses solutions known from productions such as Chivalry: Medieval Warfare or For Honor. The game boils down to participating in skirmishes with virtual knights from all over the world, and of course it is based on a highly advanced combat system, which not only allows precise cuts to be made on specific parts of the body, but also slows down blows or marks attacks to get rid of the opponent to provoke to perform a certain maneuver.
An important part of Mordhau is the extensive system of personalization - both the warrior himself and all the gear he uses. In addition, players can independently create individual weapon elements: from swords and axes to various pieces of armor, using the extensive base of parts available in the game. Thanks to this solution, everyone can develop an individual fighting style based on their own preferences. However, it should be noted that the equipment parameters have an impact on our mobility. For example, if we are much better protected from attacks with heavier armor, the movement speed will also decrease. Intended for multiplayer fun only, Mordhau naturally offers a wide range of game modes, including the classic Deathmatch mode (in single and team variations). The Team Mordhau studio production was originally created on the popular Unity 5 engine. In the course of the work, the developer decided to switch to the Unreal Engine 4 engine, which offers better technical capabilities and a better visual experience.

Mordhau Handling melee weapons is not easy. Yes, we can just take a sword and wave it wherever it goes, but in this case, the chance of hurting someone is small (we'll get hit sooner). This is perfectly shown by Mordhau, which is of course not a full-fledged simulator, but has a combat system that is well-developed so that we can feel at least a substitute of what a medieval warrior would experience on the battlefield. To be precise - in Mordhau we do not deal damage ourselves, but our allies do.
Mordhau can be safely described as a game of the "easy to learn, hard to master" type. You really don't need a lot of knowledge to start swinging a sword, ax, spear or even trying to shoot someone with a bow. Performing all these activities - colloquially speaking - is one of the production philosophy developed by Triternion studio. It is true that it includes a fairly extensive tutorial, which takes about a quarter of an hour to complete, but it's still hard to remember everything our teacher tells you. It's a bit like driving a car, where only after passing the exam we start to really learn to drive, despite the fact that we spent several dozen hours on theory and practice before.
Mordhau What does this result from? From complexity. This is reflected not only in the number of blows that can be taken, but also in the fact that each of them can be performed in a completely different direction. If you remember what it looked like in For Honor, then know that here a slightly similar, but more complex system has been used. There are more directions, and thus the game gives you more room for maneuver during the fight. In addition to the usual cuts, we also have thrusts, and besides, at any time you can turn the sword with the blade towards you to attack the unsuspecting enemy with the hilt. Plus, you can parry attacks, perform kicks, and more. However, it is of key importance to both master all these possibilities and have the right timing, because in addition to the health bar, there is a stamina bar on the screen, so you cannot attack and defend endlessly.
