Praey for the Gods Inspired by the legendary Shadow of the Colossus, a third-person action game with survival elements. Spoils for the Gods is set on a vast, ice-covered island. We play the role of a heroine trying to discover the cause of the endless winter. Prey for the Gods is a third person action game with survival elements. It is the spiritual successor to one of the most famous productions of the PlayStation 2 console, i.e. H. Shadow of the Colossus, released in 2005. Prepared for the PC, PS4 and XONE platforms, the title is the debut work of the small three-person San Francisco studio No Matter. Praey for the Gods Download for PC The game takes place on a vast ice-covered island on the edge of a dying world. We play the role of a lonely heroine who has been sent on a dangerous mission to investigate the causes of the endless winter that has almost completely paralyzed her previous life. It turns out that behind the whole situation are powerful gods that she once believed herself in, and the only chance to restore balance to the world is to face them. However, this task hinders us the extremely harsh climate of the island, as well as the fact that our protagonist was forced to make a journey wearing only her own clothes.
Just like the original from the PlayStation 2 console, the heart of the game in Prey for the Gods is dueling against powerful opponents many times larger than our heroine. Their fight requires not only a lot of inventiveness and ingenuity, thanks to which we discover the weaknesses of each colossi, but also often breakneck climbing over the bodies of monsters to deliver a striking blow. Compared to Shadow of the Colossus, the gameplay has been enriched with a number of more modern solutions, such as survival elements or a crafting system, thanks to which we will develop weapons useful in battle itself. The graphic design of the PC, PS4 and XONE games built on the Unity Engine 5 is average. In connection with the climate in the game world prevails, due to the very limited visibility, the developers managed to give the game a certain climate and a unique character, resembling the original from more than a decade ago.

Praey for the Gods Those of us who smoldered the last of our strength recalled legends, seeing them as their last hope. Old tales spoke of a barren, inaccessible land, an island hidden among the eternal ice that supposedly inhabited mysterious deities. They were to be responsible for the present situation, and defeating the ancients could restore the proper order of things. There were many daredevils who set out on a suicide mission, although none managed to return from the expedition. My turn to challenge the gods and test myself against nature.
Praey for the Gods Gloomy land greets me with wind, snow and ice. Although the narrative of Praey for the Gods focuses on confronting these deities, they are not my biggest concern, but an inhospitable environment that gives me a hard time from the very first minutes. In the knee-high snowdrifts I wade like in jelly, the bitter frost seems to cut the blood in my veins, and an empty stomach demands food that would guarantee another boost of energy.
Praey for the Gods This game is strongly focused on exploration, which in turn is fortified with typical survival solutions. Like in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, I can climb most vertical surfaces. A rope with a hook works well for overcoming chasms in caves or when you need to get to a higher ledge, while I can use vertical looseness to my advantage by pulling a makeshift parachute from behind my jacket, which allows you to glide at long distances. Unfortunately, exploration is spoiled by minor problems with collision detection and bloating physics. Sometimes, for incomprehensible reasons, the obstacle reaching the waist turns out to be insurmountable, despite the fact that a moment earlier the heroine climbed the walls of Helm's Canyon, without gloves and special equipment.
