Resident Evil 3 is a total remake of the cult survival horror game Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, which was released for the PlayStation console in 1999 (and successively made available to owners of other platforms over the following years). Responsible for the development and release of this production is the Japanese company Capcom, which is responsible for the brand. The plot of Resident Evil 3 begins on the eve of the events of Resident Evil 2, and therefore - a few months after the end of the first part of the series. The main character of the game is Jill Valentine, a former officer of the elite unit S.T.A.R.S. The protagonist found herself in the midst of a zombie apocalypse caused in the city of Raccoon City by the T-Virus produced in the laboratories of the sinister Umbrella Corporation. The virus was released and infected almost all residents. The girl has to be careful, because alongside the hordes of the living dead she is followed in the second part of the series by a fearsome mutant named Nemesis, a new version of the so-called Bio Organic Weapon, represented by the powerful tyrant . Luckily, Jill is not condemned to a lonely journey and can count on the help of mercenary Carlos Oliveira, who is the second playable character in the title.
As in the remake of the second part of the series, in Resident Evil 3 we watch the action from the third-person perspective (TPP) from the camera located over the character's right shoulder. During the game we travel through the city overrun by zombies and pursue the next mission objectives, collecting valuable supplies and notes along the way, which are a source of information about the situation in the city, eliminating hordes of enemies. In addition, environmental puzzles await solutions here. The authors provide us not only white weapons, but also firearms (in our hands, among others, pistols and shotguns). Since ammo is a scarce commodity here, it's best to use the latter in moderation - sometimes running away is better than dumping your ammo reserves. This tactic works best when faced with a nemesis following our trail. A mutant who repeats the word "Staaaaars" like a mantra gives the impression of being indestructible. He also seems to be more intelligent than his predecessor - not only can he appear out of nowhere (usually at the least expected moments), but he can also use weapons (and his favorite "toy" is the rocket launcher).

The new version of the second installment of esident Evil 3 is, in my opinion, the best game of 2019. The re-interpretation of the classic for the new generation was successful, delighting with the atmosphere of American zombie films, fantastic and demanding gameplay, rich content, numerous references to the cycle's heritage and a great setting. So I am happy to announce that I can also express my warmest words in the context of the Resident Evil 3 remake - one of the most memorable games of the PSone era.
The history of the esident Evil 3 series proves that almost everything can change in the world of zero-one adventures in eight years. In the fall of 2012, most fans, who were with the series from the very beginning, the incident at Spencer's household, could not believe their eyes. The controversial "six", despite a long and varied campaign, a large number of fun modes and a huge portion of fanservice, at no point resembled a survival horror, offering instead a festival of scripts, Quick Time Events sequences and absurd action scenes. Although the sale of the game was satisfactory, many people predicted the outflow of new fans of the series, and even the collapse of the well-deserved brand. Eight springs later, it seems that it was just a bad dream, as Resident Evil in recent years shines again the same as in the days of PSone and GameCube. How was this done?
esident Evil 3 The return to the roots of Capcom started in the best possible way, releasing the brilliant remake of Resident Evil and Resident Evil 0 from GameCube on all modern platforms, so far functioning only in the Nintendo ecosystem. The convention of old scenes has indeed aged a bit, but still played with flushed faces, absorbing the atmosphere of old-school survival horror with full dippers. esident Evil 3 A sensational quasi-reboot in the form of a "seven" perfectly combined the classic formula with a modern game design, adding the best scenario in the history of the cycle. I was even more impressed by the new version of the cult "two", which is a kind of summary of everything that the producer has learned during over twenty years of working on the series. Thanks to the reviewed RE3, Capcom proves to the last doubters that the next great games from the yellow and blue stables are not a coincidence.
