The action of Sniper Elite V2 Remastered takes place in the last days of the Second World War, more precisely in Berlin in 1945, which was conquered by the Red Army. During the game we play the role of American sniper Karl Fairburne, who goes to the destroyed capital of the Third Reich to prevent the Soviet army from acquiring the technology to build V2 rockets. To do this, the protagonist must intercept scientists willing to cooperate with the Americans and eliminate those who have fraternized with the Soviets. In Sniper Elite V2 Remastered, the action is shown from the third person perspective (TPP). There are various missions to be completed here. In order to best fulfill the tasks entrusted to us, we must develop the appropriate tactics for each of them; The key to success is to avoid unnecessary confrontations with enemies, find a favorable position to make an accurate shot and, if detected, escape and wait for the alarm or eliminate the threat. Things are complicated by the fact that opponents can communicate with each other or hide from the protagonist.
Although we have an extensive arsenal of weapons (including a silencer pistol) at our disposal, the sniper rifle plays first fiddle. To get the most out of its capabilities, we need not only patience, but also knowledge of the laws of ballistics; Therefore, you should consider gravity and wind speed as well as your own heart rate when aiming. On lower difficulty levels, the red dot shows where the projectile hits. A special mention deserves the so-called X-Ray Kill Cam - after firing a shot, the camera follows the bullet and shows the damage it causes in the bodies of opponents (e.g. ruptured organs or broken bones). In addition to the single-player story campaign, Sniper Elite V2 Remastered features competitive multiplayer where up to sixteen players can compete; in addition, the cooperation module is waiting to be checked.

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered The story of the game is based on stopping the deadly V2 rocket by the American sniper Karl Fairburne during World War II, when the Red Army occupies Berlin in 1945. In the air you can feel the slowly falling dust of ruined buildings, destroyed by the ongoing war, or the omnipresent emptiness filled with human tragedies. The vision of the war realities is presented here in suggestive, faded colors, and the very thought of playing the role of a professional shooter with a sniper rifle may feel pleasant. When I sat in front of the "V-two" I had in my head almost all the sniper films that I had the chance to experience during a movie screening or virtual gameplay, and it is a pity that the game goes along the line of least resistance, giving us a shooter with an illusory choice for tactical action.
Sniper Elite V2 Remastered The main campaign includes a series of missions that (yes, you guessed it) involve getting to a specific place and eliminating an important person, from time to time complementing our not-necessarily silent frolics, an explosive charge or a face-to-face meeting with as militant as we are, a tank.
The game is based on a small open area of operations, simple mechanics remembering the times of the first Mafia, with the stiffness of the hero's movements and errors in the artificial intelligence of enemies on every plane - with the difference that we have a sniper rifle at our disposal.
Sniper Elite V2 Remastered Feeling from shooting through a telescope at a target a few hundred meters away is unimaginably tasty here, served in a slow-flowing bullet sauce with spectacular piercing through the skull, bones, lung, in the X-Ray Kill Cam. It is the icing on the cake of each Elite edition. The right position, knowledge of the laws governing ballistics, correction to the wind, holding your breath, pulling the trigger ... And the satisfaction when we see a missile flying through the airway, through various structures, shutters, and finally cracking the skull of the guy who harassed us on the other side of the map. Priceless!
