Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 released on PC, the third installment of the popular series of sniper shooting FPP, initiated and developed by the native development Studio CI Games. We heard about the production in late 2014, when the Polish company announced it was working with an outside developer on the title. This is one of the main differences compared to the previous parts of the series created by CI Games itself. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is also the first installment that can be included in the AAA game class, i.e. high-budget projects. About 40 million PLN was allocated for its production, making it one of the most expensive games in the history of the Polish video game industry. In addition, marketing costs were estimated at approximately PLN 20 million. The Kremlin-backed separatists were given orders to destabilize the distant region of Georgia, previously considered an area of no strategic importance. In the game we play the role of a sea sniper - Jonathan North, whose mission is not only the efficient and silent elimination of important targets, but also a personal matter related to the younger brother, who is absent in this area. Operating alone behind enemy lines, the hero must support the local resistance movement and face his own problems.
Unlike the previous parts of the series, in Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 on PC, XONE and PS4 a much greater freedom of action. In the game world, in addition to the main storyline, there are quite a lot of side quests and we have to decide on their importance and the order of execution. During the game we go through vast wild areas and eliminate more key targets for the fate of the conflict. In the game we traditionally use a wide arsenal of sniper rifles and the latest achievements in military technology, such as popular drones, which we can use not only for reconnaissance, but also for disarming mines or monitoring surveillance cameras. At the same time, there are some elements of survival in the game - thanks to the collected raw materials, for example, we can use the crafting system to construct a special ammunition. A wide range of operational options allows you to eliminate enemies in many different ways. The game focuses on three character development paths, each of which is rewarded - so we can behave like a sniper, liquidate targets from a distance, sneak silently with a suppressed weapon or carry out frontal attacks with assault rifles. One of the most important elements of the game, as in the previous two parts of the series, is a simplified ballistics of projectile flight. The success of each shot can depend on factors such as distance to the target or the strength of the wind. The large maps on which the game is played also allow driving vehicles to move quickly.

Let's start with the advantages, because, contrary to appearances, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 has quite a lot of them. The game is certainly driven by the story, which is not added solely to be an excuse to kill enemies. This is a neatly written story with an unexpected twist. There is a civil war in Georgia, and we - as the American marines Jonathan North - are trying to restore the old order by fighting separatists. If we were to end this, we would have to deal with a not necessarily interesting story, but adding the story of a missing brother, whom our protagonist is trying to find, makes the script really addictive.
Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 offers much more freedom than the previous installments of the series. Although we have pre-set mission goals, there is nothing to prevent us from achieving them in several ways. We can find a convenient sniper position, mark enemies with a drone, and then "pull" one enemy after another or - like in stealth - eliminate opponents with a knife, without arousing any suspicions. The third option is to grab an AK-47 or any other rifle and play Rambo style. When deciding on such a strategy, however, you must remember that the separatists are heavily armored, and the only right solution is to shoot enemies in the head.
Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 Thanks to the aforementioned variety and very successful shooting mechanics with any rifle or pistol, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is a lot of fun for a while. Subsequent missions are a pleasure to go through, and breaking through various complexes becomes extremely engaging until we notice that over time the authors ran out of ideas for more interesting and complex missions. Before we feel bored, we will undoubtedly be able to enjoy the gadgets and possibilities prepared for each gameplay style (sniper, ghost and warrior). In addition, in addition to the need to exchange fire, we also have platform sequences here. If you want to get to a convenient sniper position or avoid the outpost by sneaking up on enemies from behind, you often climb the rocks.
