Wolfenstein 2 The New Colossus The next installment in the best-selling series of FPP shoots, as well as a direct sequel to Wolfenstein: The New Order, co-produced by Machine Games. The game takes place in 1961 - emerged from the coma B.J. Blazkowicz and his friends are taken to the Nazi occupied states. The protagonist quickly finds a common language with the leaders of the local resistance, with whom he moves to fight the invader. Gameplay in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus involves exploring the huge stages, completing consecutive mission objectives and eliminating enemy variants. A wide range of murder tools are available - including not only classic firearms, but also more sophisticated dealers. It is worth noting that the authors once again decided to abandon health recovery in favor of the old school system of pharmacies. The whole is distinguished by three-dimensional graphics of high quality - compared to its predecessor, textures and special effects related to the exchange of fire have been added. Wolfenstein 2 The New Colossus Download for PC Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus begins exactly in 1961 with the events of the previous series. Awakens from the coma B.J. Blazkowicz and his friends go to Nazi-occupied territory of the United States. The protagonist, because of the terror that the Germans (led by Frau Engel) have in America, is nothing but to take up arms again and fight the aggressor. Luckily, Blazkowicz and his entourage are not alone - they are helping Horton and Grace, leaders of the local resistance movement.
Gameplay on Windows PC Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is based on an almost identical scheme as was the case with its predecessor. Nevertheless, the journey through the huge stages (we visit Roswell, New Mexico and New Orleans, among others) to pursue further missions and eliminate the multitude of opponents. Throughout the adventure, both infantry and artillery, retro-futuristic robots are on the way. The main character, of course, is not defenseless - in clashes uses an extensive arsenal. Among the available murder tools are not only classic rifles (pistols, machine guns), but also more complex giwery conformation Laserkraftwerku (firing a laser beam capable of disintegrating opponents) and Dieselkraftwerku (i.e. fueled launcher, which allows the simultaneous elimination of all groups of adversaries). Interestingly, there is also nothing to prevent firing two lead pukawek at the same time - provided, of course, that we have enough ammunition. It is worth noting that the authors once again decided to abandon health recovery in favor of the old school system of pharmacies.

Wolfenstein 2 The New Colossus starts from high C - the mission in which we fight the Nazis while riding in a wheelchair is one of the best parts of the game. The high quality of production is also retained in the later stages, but the game is separated from the game by a few major stumbles. After the events of the first part, Blazkowicz has become a legend. He has even earned a nickname - Terror Billy - which suits him especially when he returns home to retake the United States from the Reich. The new adventure takes us to various corners of the country and allows us to see New York destroyed by a nuclear attack, transformed into a huge ghetto, New Orleans or catch a connection to Roswell, quite effectively reflecting the diversity of the USA.
Wolfenstein 2 The New Colossus The overall tone of the adventure is slightly worse. In the first hours we will have to wander a bit in Blazkowicz's thoughts and memories - we will learn a bit about his childhood, we will hear a lot of gloomy reflections on the subject of disability and weakness. From time to time, the atmosphere changes to a lighter and slightly more humorous one, and many RPGs may envy Wolfenstein the quality of dialogues. Sometimes, however, this comedy aspect of the plot goes a bit too far and instead of creating a counterbalance to more serious scenes, it completely destroys the atmosphere. This is especially noticeable in the final act, which looks like last-minute changes to the script were made, and there wasn't as much time to tweak the new version as it did for the rest of the story.
Wolfenstein 2 The New Colossus The writers from Machine Games, however, have risen to new heights. Even with the aforementioned shortcomings, the story they created is presented in an almost perfect way. The cutscenes are filled to the brim with dialogues, thanks to which we get to know the entire cast accompanying Blazkowicz better - to an extent that is extremely rare in shooters. The quarrel between the anarchist leader and William about the meaning of the fight is a masterful blend of camera work, music and well-written lines. Much good can be said about all characters. Sigrun - the daughter of the main evil, General Engel - shows pretty well that she is more than just a stereotypical Helga. Max Hass, a giant with a child's mind, does a lot of little things to make us smile. William's beloved Ania is the weakest of the diverse and well-written cast. The creators went a bit too far in her case, sending a woman in an advanced state of pregnancy on further missions, forgetting that a big belly may make running or acrobatics that she sometimes does a bit difficult.
