Warhammer Vermintide 2 is a sequel to Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide which was released in 2015. It is a first-person action game for the PC, XONE and PS4 platforms set in the Warhammer universe. The game is primarily intended for co-op mode and focuses on fighting various beasts living in the Old World, which we eliminate using various clever weapons. The sequel, like the first part, is the responsibility of Studio Fatshark, known e.g. from projects such as War of the Vikings and Krater. In the first part of the series, brave heroes fought against the Skavens in the city of Ubersreik. Warhammer: Vermintide 2 takes us to Helmgart - a fortress town near the border of Bretonnia, where we have to face not only rat-like creatures but also the forces of chaos. If we fail, the empire will collapse.
Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is a classic sequel without major changes. It's a brutal action game that's mainly focused on melee combat with different swords or spears, although during the game we'll also use longer-range weapons like a crossbow. The game is primarily intended for cooperation. The developers allow four players to play together and play different heroes with different abilities. A total of five heroes have been prepared, which can be developed in three separate career paths, allowing you to adapt the style of the game to your preferences. Available are the dwarf bard Goreksson, the assassin Kerillian, the headhunter Victor Saltzpyre, the magician Sienna Fuegonasus and the knight Markus Kruber. In addition, the developers have improved the loot system. After completing each mission, we will receive various rewards, including weapons and materials useful in crafting. One of the new features is the Heroic Deeds system, which offers unique scenarios by changing the composition of enemy forces, elements of the environment, available weapons or objects to be completed.

Warhammer Vermintide 2 In the second part of Vermintide, we once again face the power of Chaos, which wants to drown the Old World in the blood of its inhabitants. This time, however, we find ourselves in Helmgart, a city located in the south of the Empire, right on the border with Brittany. Previously, the game was played in Ubersreik. The opponents we will have to deal with are also the difference. In addition to the Skaven (ratmen) known from the first part, dark forces (including demons and cultists) from distant lands called Chaos Wastes will stand in our way. All this hustle and bustle looks really good, the mob models and their animations look good. The same applies to locations that suit the quasi-medieval atmosphere, saturated with "warhammer" darkness. The developers from the Fatshark studio rose to the occasion.
Warhammer Vermintide 2 It should be added that Helmgart is not the only place where we will appear. In addition to the battlefield, we will also visit the temple-fortress of Taal (one of the good ... or at least better deities), which is a kind of safe house. This place is especially important, because it is here that we can choose tasks, additional challenges, use the crafting option (for which we can use the collected raw materials or unnecessary, melted equipment) or finally choose one of the five unique heroes. We have at our disposal the assassin Kerillian, the witch hunter Victor Saltzpyre, the fire mage Sienna Fuegonasus, the dwarven explorer Bardin Goreksson and the heavy knight Markus Kruber. Each of our potential protagonists has a unique set of skills at their disposal and requires a different approach, which definitely enriches the gameplay.
